Schedule of Fees - 2018

The cost of a consultation is payable at the end of the session by credit card, debit/eftpos card, or cash. I offer a number of different payment options for a 60-minute consultation.

If you have a Medicare Mental Health Plan from your GP or Psychiatrist, you are eligible to claim for a maximum of ten appointments per calendar year. After your sixth appointment, you will need to return to your GP for a review in order to eligible for another four visits. For more information about a GP Mental Health Plan speak with your GP.

Below is my current schedule of fees:

  • $190 ($65.50 Gap fee with a Medicare Mental Health Plan)

  • $0 (NDIS) – This option is only available to patients with an active National Disabilities Insurance Scheme plan. Please note: your plan must include Psychological therapy and you must bring a copy of your plan to your initial appointment. If you are unsure of your entitlements, please contact NDIS on 1800 800 110

  • $190 fee (Private Health Care): You may be able to claim Private Health Insurance rebates. Please note: you cannot use your Private Health Insurance ancillary cover in conjunction with Medicare rebates for Psychology Services. Depending on your provider you may be able to claim on the spot. Rebates will vary based on your level of cover. Contact your health insurance provider for further information.

Cancellation Policy

Appointments are in high demand. It is advisable that if you are wishing to receive ongoing therapy that you book in a number of appointments in advance.

In order to keep my waiting times down you will recieve a SMS reminder two days before your appointment either by phone or text. It is essential that you confirm your appointment by 5pm the day your receive your reminder. Failing to do so will mean that I will need to offer the appointment to another patient waiting. If, for some reason you need to cancel or postpone the appointment, please provide us at least 24 hours’ notice.

Failing to show up to an appointment means that it is impossible for me to offer an appointment to another patient in need. If you do not show up to your appointment you will be charged a cancellation fee of $190.00 that will be added to the fee of the next appointment or invoiced to you. If you fail to attend two appointments in a row, any future appointments you have booked in advance will be cancelled.
